Cochin to Munnar

Day 01

- Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar. Munnar is the beautiful hill station in Kerala with a variety of flora and fauna. On the way you can enjoy the Cheeyapara waterfalls and Valara waterfalls. - After check in to your resort and rest for the day. - Overnight stay at the resort.

 

Munnar Sightseeing

Day 02

 - After breakfast move from the resort, ready for full day sightseeing. - Sightseeing includes Eravikulam National park(Rajamala), Mattupetty Dam, Echo point, Shooting point and Sengulam lake. - After lunch visit tea museum(Monday closed), tea plantations, Blossom park and Pothamedu view point. - Rajamala may be closed from February to April Mid due to breeding season of Tahr , the mountain goats. - Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Munnar to Thekkady

Day 03

 - Morning after breakfast check out and drive to Thekkady. - Sightseeing includes Periyar wild life sanctuary and boating in the lake. While boating you may be able to see the wild elephants, deer, bison, boar etc. Entrance fee will be there for boating and bus to sanctuary. - Evening you are free to watch Kathakali (Traditional dance) and Kalaripayattu(martial arts) and other optional activities. (Entrance fees will be there for all these optional activities.) - Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Thekkady to Alleppey House boat

Day 04

 - Check out after breakfast and drive to Alleppey and check in to your house boat and enjoy the scenic beauty of Alleppey backwaters and its village life. - Houseboat is provided with welcome drinks, tea, snacks, lunch, dinner and breakfast. - Check in time is 12:00 PM and cruise continues till evening 05:30 PM and anchors for the night till morning 08:00 AM and continue cruise to your drop off point. - AC in the houseboat will operate from 9 PM to 6AM in the morning.

 

Allepey to Kanyakumari

Day 05

 - After breakfast, checkout from the house boat and drive to Kanyakumari. - On your arrival at Kanyakumari, check in to the resort. - Rest of the day, leisure at the resort and you can go to the beaches. - Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

 

 

Kanyakumari Sightseeing

Day 06

 - Sightseeing includes Vivekananda Rock and Kanyakumari temple. - Afternoon drive to Kovalam and check in to the resort. - Rest of the day, leisure at the resort and you can go to the beaches . - Overnight stay at Kovalam.

 

Trivandrum or Kovalam Sightseeing

Day 07

 - Sightseeing includes Kuthiramalika Museum, Sree padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Sree chithra Art Gallery, Zoological park, Kanakakunnu Palace and planetarium. - Sree Padmanabha Swami temple (5am-11am) & (3pm -6.30pm) - Monday museum, palace , and other will be closed. - Rest of the day, leisure at the resort and you can go to the beaches . - Overnight stay at Kovalam.

 

Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin Drop

Day 08

 - Drop can be either at Trivandrum or Cochin. - If you are dropped at Cochin, be ready for a long journey by road (6-7 hours) and sightseeing in Cochin is available only up to your departure time. - If your drop is at Trivandrum, you may continue your sightseeing and you will be dropped off at your departure time accordingly. - You can return to your home town with the sweet memories of God's own country.
